Rare pair of 3 drawer chests in blond mahogany with brushed nickel hardware. Art Deco inspired styling with the tapered sides and modernist hardware. Coming from a wealthy Short Hills, NJ estate where they had been purchased new by the former owners.
The Jay Spectre "Perimeter" Collection was a 60-piece collection of furniture designed for the Century Furniture Co. and unveiled as part of Bloomingdale's centennial celebration. I was unable to find another example of these chest that had sold in recent years.
Condition: General wear from use. Some oxidation to the metal on the base edge. Some scuff and drink ring marks to the top surface. General surface ware and light grime. Drawers work well. Solid and heavy. Well made pieces. Each marked in top drawer.

23 1/4" H x 36" W x 16" D
