Great looking vintage desk chair in the classic Regency style. It dates to the 1950s and was purchased by a decorator for the home. Unmarked. Very comfortable.
Condition: Caned seat is damaged. Cushion is in great condition, so the seat can be replaced by wood and be stable. Currently it is stable "as is" with two pieces of sturdy board under the cushion. I weight 185lbs and can sit in the chair with no problems. General wear to the painted surface, especially along the arm rests. Cushion is covered in a vinyl type material that looks like watermarked silk. General wear consistent with age.
