Outstanding 6'3"H bronze two-tiered fountain fresh to the market after being removed from a Short Hills, NJ estate garden. Once the center piece behind a large house built in 1927, situated in the middle of a reflecting pool. I do not know the exact age, but it must date between 1927-1980s. I have not found an exact match to this design, but I believe it is French.
I believe the material is cast bronze (a magnet does not stick). It has taken on an outstanding verdigris green patina from years of exposure.
Base has double pipes for running water flow, which comes out of the ram's mouths.
One piece and heavy. It can be moved and ride on its side.
Measurements:
76" Total height x 46" DIA at widest point x 24" W of base, 1 1/2" DIA pipes at base.
