A Victorian Bamboo and Lacquer Magazine Rack, Stand Antique Tortoise Towel RARE
A Victorian Bamboo and Lacquer Magazine Rack, Stand Antique Tortoise Towel RARE
Rare antique bamboo magazine rack that dates to the late 19th century. Coming directly from a wealthy Short Hills, NJ estate. Small pieces of hand painted lacquered panels are incorporated into the design. Great for use as a magazine rack or can be used to hold towels in a bathroom. Great patina to the bamboo.
Condition: Overall very good. It is antique and should be handled with care. The two cross joints in the center are glued in place. They will hold magazines/newspapers, but I would not put a tremendous amount of weight on them unless you had a flat piece to distribute the weight.
This would probably be an easy item for the UPS store to ship for you because it is light in weight.
Measurements:
30 1/2" H x 20 1/4" W x 13 1/2" D
