Outstanding pair of 1950s carved giltwood sconces made in Spain by Masa.  Still retaining their original paper label.  Large size, ideal for a large space.  Dramatic look and great gilt patina.  These probably date to the 1950s or 1960s.  Coming directly from the estate of a long time NYC antiques dealer.

These have not been electrified, used with candles.  Arms are metal / gilt tole.  

A very similar pair to these is currently listed for $4,500 on another online website.

Condition: Tip of one outer leaf missing from one sconce.  This piece can be replicated quite easily.  

NOTE:  For shipping, we feel most comfortable removing the candle arms.  This will involve you putting them back together by tightening nut onto bolts through holes on the back side.  Due to their large size, they will require extra care in shipping.  If you do not want the arms removed, make sure you specify this after purchase.
