Rare Dux Lounge Chair Sam Larsson Design? 1970s Scandinavian Design Adjustable
I have not found an exact match to this chair, but it is similar to the "Felix" lounge chair by Sam Larsson for DUX. This is a marked DUX piece, so I assume it is quite rare. Coming from a wealthy local estate where the NYC decorator purchased most of the contents from NYC design sources. Still retains the original label from Dux International (Newport News, VA).
Upholstered in a naugahyde material. Adjusts easily to sit upright or in a reclined position. Very comfortable, as it conforms to the body perfectly. Cushion attaches to the canvas covered frame with velcro.
Condition: Overall excellent. Some wear to the back of the chair where it would have hit the wall. Minor tears in this region. No other issues. Reclines easily.
