Wow. This fixture is outstanding. Coming directly from a Morristown, NJ "Gilded Age" mansion, this fixture was hanging in the formal entry hall. The home was built in the 1890s, but I estimate this fixture is to be c1910. The mount is solid brass with a very thick cut glass globe. It is a large size and would look incredible in your home as a statement piece.
The wiring has all been removed, but can easily be replaced with the sockets of your choice and wired by a professional electrician.
Condition: Remarkable condition. This fixture would have been very expensive and made to last generations. Some chips to the glass around the edge, but they can only be seen when the globe is removed from the mount. Great shape. Needs to be rewired.
