Rare 18th Century Italian vanity or table top mirror. Signed on the base "F. Saranto." This may have originally been something other than a mirror, I am not sure. According to a tag on the back, this piece dates to the 1740s. It is coming from a wealthy local estate that was professionally decorated.
Condition: Overall very good. The mirror plate is a replacement, but old and very thick. Normal wear consistent with age. Great lines.
